We arrive in Montreal at 19.45 (local time) on Sunday 31st August, staying 1 night in the Novotel Montreal Airport. We then fly out of Toronto on Friday 19th September. In between - who knows? We will be visiting university friend Chris McCarthy in Ottawa and going to see Niagra Falls.

This map shows the first draft plan which I put together, but it is likely to change considerably once we have feedback from those who've been. The main thing I was trying to get here was a bit of decent camping, parks and lake views. Google maps puts the route shown at 740 miles which I put at about 8 days of driving (allowing plenty of time for detours, stops and to allow for time to set-up and break camp).
